If you’re not on Pinterest, can you even call yourself a blogger? Just kidding. (Kind of.)
The thing is, when it comes to monetizing your blog with affiliate marketing, a huge part of it is actually getting traffic to your blog. Because, well… no traffic = no sales. And unless you’re an SEO guru (or personally know someone who is) then it can be a looong and steep learning curve to get to the point where you’re consistently bringing in a decent amount of traffic to your blog.
This is where Pinterest comes in!
Pinterest drives traffic to your website.
Pinterest is easy to use and can get hundreds (or thousands) of fresh eyes on your pages every day. It has quickly become my number one referrer by simply creating one new pin for every article I publish. #easypeasy
Because Pinterest is more like a search engine than a social media platform, it’s an easy way for people to curate and organize content they are interested in. Most images shared on Pinterest link back to the website or blog they originate from. So, as your pins gets shared around Pinterest, people will click through the image to the content on your site.
One of the BEST things about Pinterest is that once you’ve pinned something, the pin remains on Pinterest boards, instead of disappearing as they do on Twitter (after about 24 minutes) or Facebook (after around 3 hours). In fact, it isn’t uncommon for a post that was published weeks, months, or even a year ago to receive a new surge of traffic from Pinterest.
Blogging is a lot of work, and it takes a lot of time, right? And as a blogger, Pinterest is really going to give you the most return on your time invested. So… if Pinterest hasn’t really been at the top of your to-do list, and your traffic could use a boost, then now’s definitely the time to get pinning!
The ONE single step I’ve made to help me master Pinterest:
It’s basically a step-by-step guide to mastering Pinterest and crafting a long-term strategy that you can easily automate. Actually, it’s the BEST Pinterest ebook I’ve come across to date. And that’s because it’s not your standard “basic” guide to Pinterest. Nope! It goes waaaayy beyond how to just create a profile and put up pretty board covers, and actually taps into the core of how Pinterest really works – and more importantly, how you can make it work for you!
The reason I’m sharing this with you is because Ana has an incredible offer that I didn’t want you to miss out on:
